Downtown flats often have heavy curtains, full sofa sets and wall-to-wall carpet in older blocks, which one technician can usually handle in a single visit.

Time on site for curtain cleaning: by curtain count. Al Zahiyah, the old Tourist Club Area, is dense central city: apartment towers, older residential blocks, hotels, offices and shops around Abu Dhabi Mall and the marina. Downtown flats often have heavy curtains, full sofa sets and wall-to-wall carpet in older blocks, which one technician can usually handle in a single visit. The exact time is confirmed when you share the property size and condition at booking, and on hourly jobs the team can extend on site in 30-minute steps only with your approval.

Works well alongside deep cleaning and upholstery care. Visits booked online run every day from 8 AM and have to finish by 8 PM, and same-day slots need at least 2 hours' notice. Our base is in Al Danah on Abu Dhabi Island, so central neighbourhoods are the shortest drive for our teams and technicians. You can book up to 30 days ahead online.

A standard curtain cleaning visit covers fabric inspection, dust removal, spot treatment and freshness finish. The technician checks each panel top to bottom with you and leaves the curtains hanging straight, since they are cleaned in place rather than taken down. Anything outside that scope, such as extra rooms or add-on items, is agreed with you before it is done, never added to the bill afterwards. Downtown flats often have heavy curtains, full sofa sets and wall-to-wall carpet in older blocks, which one technician can usually handle in a single visit.

Fabric work always comes with our own machines, fabric-safe shampoos, stain treatments and drying equipment, so there is nothing for you to supply apart from water and power. On-site steam curtain cleaning needs power sockets near the windows and a safe footing for a step ladder; drops above normal height need a taller ladder arranged in advance. Downtown streets are busy, so the team plans around paid street parking and building lifts; tell us the building name, the nearest landmark and whether there is a watchman.

Street parking is tight, so visitor parking in the building makes a big difference. Many older buildings have no visitor desk; tell us the flat number and how to reach you when the team arrives. Fabric technicians carry machines and hoses, so a service lift or a parking spot near the door makes the visit noticeably quicker. Tell us at booking and we save the details for your next visit.

Once or twice a year suits most homes, and curtains near balconies or on dusty sides of the house usually need it sooner. Older homes often have heavier, long-used curtains, carpets and majlis seating that respond best to regular cleaning rather than one big clean every few years. Busy commercial surroundings bring more dust indoors, so reception seating, office carpets and home fabrics here are often cleaned on a shorter cycle. There is no contract for repeat bookings: each visit is paid online by card once we confirm it, and you can request the next one before the team leaves.

Count the curtain panels, note any blackout linings, sheers or very long drops, and clear the floor under the windows so the steamer can reach. In a downtown block, tell the building watchman to expect us, share where to park or unload nearby, and note if the lift is small or out of service. If anything changes, you can cancel or move the booking free of charge up to 6 hours before the start time.

The visit is done by a fabric-care technician from our team who is trained on the machines and on testing a hidden patch before treating any fabric. IHR Dream General Maintenance and Cleaning L.L.C. is a licensed Abu Dhabi company (DED licence CN-4175959) founded in 2021, rated 4.4 from 1,135 reviews on ServiceMarket and 4.7 on Google. If the result is not what was agreed, tell us straight after the visit and the team comes back to review and put it right.

Curtain Cleaning is most often combined with sofa cleaning, window cleaning and carpet cleaning. Downtown flats often have heavy curtains, full sofa sets and wall-to-wall carpet in older blocks, which one technician can usually handle in a single visit. Booking sofa, carpet, mattress or curtain cleaning together with a deep or move clean on the same visit takes 10% off the fabric care.
